It would appear that you only need to disable DHCP under the DHCP settings, and then assign a unique IP address under the LAN settings. I would also go ahead and disable the firewall under the Advanced tab until you know that you have connectivity. In fact, since you are only using it as an access point you probably don't need the firewall on the dlink.
Once you are done, it would be a good a good idea to shut down all computers, and unplug the cable modem, router and access point. After 30 seconds, plug the cable modem in and wait for it to synchronize. After the cable modem is synched, plug in the router and then the access point. Start up the wired computer(s) and verify that they are getting an IP address and have connectivity.
Then all that's left, is to configure the access point and client computer(s) for the wireless connection. And if we haven't missed anything, both the wired and wireless should be up and running with the linksys handing out IP addresses to both the wired and wireless client computers.
