question about I and II connectors

I have a I and a II connector coming from the front panel of my case. I know this sounds newbie but what are they and what are the pins on the mobo label for them? Thanks

yea. When I order the hard drive I will see if it connects to it or if it connects to the mobo.

The only connection I see near where I connected all the other connectors is for 2 irda connectors. I am going to see If I can find it in the diagram it came with.

it definitely connects to the motherboard not the hard drive...all of the connectors coming off the case go to the motherboard.

and all motherboard have an ide_led and pwr light connection..they may be called different things but they will be there.

what motherboard is it??

---

also, if you hook an led backwards it wont hurt it..it just wont work.
