Outdoors Mandrake 10 Isos 711mb why???

Why'd they have to make it 3 cds with 711mb each? This means you need 800mb cds to burn the isos. Why couldn't they just make 4 isos that would fit on 700mb or 650mb. I cant find 800mb cdr's hardly anywhere online.

That's the thing about ISOs - ignore the file sizes. They will fit on 700MB CD's with no problems, no matter what the ISO file size is.

According to eMule, each of the 3 ISOs are about 695mb each.

Hmm well it seems there is a problem with my cdrw drive. Neither Alcohol 120% or Nero can burn images.

In Nero just enable overburn and it will let you burn the iso with no problems

but i got 3 rar archives instead of the isos.....

burning the contents of each rar file will make the first disk bootable or do i need to make a boot disc and add the files?

just try ultraiso from here:

http://download.com.com/3000-2646-10...ml?tag=lst-0-1

works very well for iso files and other related files (bin, cue, and such)
you can also burn the images straight from the program

and if that doesnt work, try this other cool program:

http://download.com.com/3000-2250-10...ml?tag=lst-0-1

works like a charm it does!

*edit!

and of course, daemon tools:

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/do...Download&id=34

with that you can mount the images onto a virtual cd rom drive so no need to waste a blank cd-r
