XP Pro - Welcome Screen Logon

I'm frustrated here. I've got a laptop that one of our network guys has been using to configure Cisco devices. He has a couple logon id's on it, and I created myself a user account as well. I cannot get it to boot to the Welcome screen. It always boots directly into his user account. I've tried checking and unchecking the Use Welcome Screen option in the control panel, but it keeps booting directly into his user.... without even requiring his password, which is defined.

Any suggestions?

Select Run from the Start Menu, type control userpasswords2, and click Ok. Turn on the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok. If you have one user account and no password configured, Windows XP will log you in automatically. You could also obtain and install the Windows XP version of TweakUI. Open TweakUI (it's in Start -> Programs -> Powertoys for Windows XP). Expand the Logon branch, and click Autologon. Turn off the Log on automatically at system startup option, click Ok.
