In need of some good info on Steve Jobs

I have a report to do on a prominant figure in the technology world, and I chose him. I've found plenty of information via google/yahoo, but I need some stuff thats required by the teacher that I just can't seen to find such as his parents, since he was adopted. I really don't want to change my subject because of a couple bits of information i couldn't find. Could somone point me in the direction of some in depth information about him?

Steve hired a detective to find out who his real mother was. This was a couple of years before Apple even got started. As far as I know, he never found out. If you want to find some obscure info on Jobs, as well as other people who helped start the techno revolution, read "Fire in the Valley". I'm sorry, I can't remember the author's name. I picked it up from my local libary a few months ago, and found it to be a fascinating story.

Born to Joanne Simpson and an Egyptian Arab father (name not known). His biological sister is the novelist Mona Simpson. Steve was adopted soon after birth by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California.

A good movie that seemed to stick fairly close to the events that lead to the launch of Apple and MS is Pirates of Silicon Valley. If its not entierly acurate its at least fun

It is circulated that when he and Steve Wozniak were in college they would sell "blue boxes," devices to circumvent long distance billing! Had they gotten caught, you'd have never heard of Apple!
