Ugh steam accounts

I first registered my steam account like 6 months ago. The couple weeks ago I registered again with a new account because it said it couldn't find mine. and now again I am registering. I am using the same cd key. But it says steam can't register it because it maybe in use. I bought it legally and everything. It may be because of my old accounts. Is there anyway I could delete my old accounts so I can use the cd key?

I know you frustation...... It happened to me also.... I installed again steam and tried to make a new account I didnt remember the old one.... at the end of the wizard it said that my account was being used..... agggghhhh..


So lucky for me, I tend to write down every account I have on a paper..... just in case i forget the login and password.... used the old one and it let me use it.


If you registered with steam long time ago.... your account login should be the email you provided the first time




I also hate steam.... but its the only way to play CS online now.....

it works perfectly for a week and then crashes.

steam is going to be great once all the bugs are worked out of it. the Friends feather plus the ability to Alt-Tab out of CS are really great additions. A few members of my clan had similar log in problems these past weeks. My one friend keeps having his cd-key stolen.
