I have purchased a new PC and want to transfer some files from my old one on to the new one..I'm running XP Pro on the old one and XP Home on the new one..Can I do what I need to by slaving or are things not as simple as that any more..?! Just wanted to check before I screw up my new machine..!!

I see, that's great, thanks..It's just that someone told me something about Windows having some form of "protection" on it preventing PC's from being linked to others in that way and that it had to be done via a USB connection nowadays..?! Sounded strange to me, but it's been a while since the last time I did anything like that..
