making an installer

does anyone know how to make your own installer where a bunch of .exe files thta i specify be installed at once?

an example of this is the ace mega codecs pack that installs a bunch of codecs through one installation file.

simplest way if you are not altering the registry, may be to use an msdos batch file, otherwise look into install shield or nullsoft installer. batch files can be tremendously powerful tools, and are fairly easy to learn the basics. the necessary support is built into all versions of windows and msdos.

You can check out WinRAR. Its like winzip with a lot of different options. It has a very nice installer maker. Ive used it in the past and it works great. Its also free.

Yeah what your looking for is Advanced SFX Settings. Batch files are great but require at least two files (the batch file and the compressed zip, rar whatever)
