Im no expert so what im saying could well be complete bull, but id guess not. When you insert, say CD2 of the installation, it appears to read the cd for a few seconds before proceeding. Obviously it is checking that the inserted CD is the correct one, but im guessing that it only looks at the first part of the CD to check this, otherwise the verification would take longer than a few seconds. So, in doing so with your DVD it would scan the disk, see the signature of CD1 which is at the start of the disk and tell you to insert CD2, even though the data for CD2 is on the disk further on. There may be some cunning way of getting around this but im not cunning enough to tell you how. This is assuming that you can write 3 ISOs onto a DVD in succession anyway, I dont think you can even do that. Some distros of linux allow you to download an ISO for a DVD anyway.
