Can anyone recommend a good video capture external device for converting VHS and HI8 to DVD?

We use Pinnacle Studio. It has a PCI card that has to be installed but it has a corded connector to plug your equipment into. It has composit, S-video, and firewire connections.

Yah, we got Pinnacle that came with a video camera, but I think he was just looking for a card. I probaly need to do some research on this buject too.
