Here is some more info you should know about the P4 3.4 cpu.

There are two types of P4 3.4 cpu. One is known as a Northwood the other as Prescott. If you're getting the Northwood you shouldn't have any problems. However, if you are getting the Prescott then you need to know if your motherboard is Prescott ready. If it is not then you will need to make sure there is a bios upgrade for your motherboard to enable it to work with the Prescott then flash your bios to enable the cpu to work properly with the motherboard.
