PAL & NTSC DVD Conversions

I have:
Super Multi DVD - 8X DVD Multi-Drive
- 24x CD rewrite; 8x DVD+rewrite
- 32x CD read; 12x DVD read
- 2MB data buffer

I'm running WinXP Home Edition.

I would like to know, please, how to convert a DVD PAL (Region Code 2)disc into NTSC (Region Code 1) once its copied from the disc to the harddrive, so that I can burn it into a NTSC (Region Code 1) disc.

You can go check this web site.

http://www.dvddecrypter.com/download.asp

I got that DVD Decrypter program but only use it to make copies of DVD's but it seems that it can do more things that might help you.

Because it has alot stuff of changing regions. It has an option that says "Region Free" but i do not know that.

Hope it helps you.

well, good luck because it doesnt sound possible! its like turning a cat into a dog...... its two different formats, meaning that they have different resolutions. if you do manage to convert it, it will most likely be stretched in some way and quality will be lower.

You can't burn regioned disks with a consumer DVD burner. You can, however, make the PAL to NTSC standard conversion and make an unregioned disk. You can use standard tools, like TMPGenc, to do that.
