XP pro administrator

I am trying to add slimbrowser on my work computer. but I keep getting the message error opening file for writing. could this be because I need administrator priveledges?

looks like slim runs along with internet explorer.

do you have a browser open while your trying to install the add on?

I didn't have anything open during installation. I also tried to download and instal mediajukebox and got error messages as well. I tried to instal a screen saver from cd but no luck. I suspect my company's administrator has the computer blocked.
I can't get into program access and defaults either.
What do you think?

since it's a company pc, it might be set for standard user only with limited previleges. consult your system administrator.
