laptop video

ok, my friend had a question and i am unsure whether or not this is possible at all. he wants to know if he can replace his integrated video on his laptop without buying a new one. he has a toshiba protge 1.3 centrino, 512 ram, integrated video.

is it possible to cram a laptop pci card in the case if there even is an extra pci slot (using a 90 degree bend thingy)? can you even buy a laptop graphics card seperately?

I suppose youd have to just look up the exact specs and maybe it'd shed some light on it. I have no clue about add in vid cards...I know there is a thing called a mini-pci slot...but maybe not all comps have one and it doesnt sound like a thing for a vid card anyway.

what model is it? something like an R100 maybe?? or what?
