dvd drive jittery..
my dvd-rom drive is LITEON COMBO 48161H ATAPI.. when i used with win xp, it was crisp and clean.. but now with win 2000, it's jittery.. help please..

i dunno how to set those modes.. not sure on either case.. what's the difference and how do i set it to their modes..?

Right click my computer->properties->device manager->IDE ATA- or ATAPI-devices->primary/secondary ide, see the devices there and what mode they're running in.

Difference is, that pio mode is SLOW, and I do mean SLOW.
