armada 1750
Hi I am new to the board . I have a Armada 1750 that was given to me and since I got it for free it has problems of course. When I plug the laptop in it makes a slight clicking sound and then the caps lock, the num lock, and the scroll lock light comes on and stays on and it boots no further. The only way to restart the laptop is to hold the hibernate button down and then slide the power button over it then shuits off and pops back on and the three lights come on again. Once in a while for now reason I can figure out it will book it has done that once in 2 days and then the scren was blank. Afew days ago when I did mangae to get it to load it loaded the Windows XP and then I loaded a new BIOS into it and it ran ok for one day. I have replaced the A disk drive the firsdt one was not working I bought another used battery that works for the laptop and I have had the internal battery checked and they said it was ok. I am at a lost to figure out what else to try. Any thoughts or ideas.
I also have pulled the internal battery and laptop battery overnight and then reconnected to see if it would laod then and again it is a 75-25 guess if it will or not.
