I'm trying to get my bloody wireless (god i hate it) to work and the d-link guide tells me to type 192.168.0.1 to open the configure menu. I've got this router to work a few times but always changed back to normal router since it has a built-in firewall but now it won't open the configure menu. So i tried to do a ping test and woohoo it failed, no results. So anyone know what i am doing wrong? I have my proxy disabled on LAN settings if that is important, my LAN properties shows an IP.... and more that i don't know whether they're important or not. I don't know what this topic is under so i didn't use the search on this forum please help..
It's a homecomputer and the brand D-Link model DI-64+ thanks for the fast reply and suggestions but even if 192.168.1.1 works i still won't be able to connect to my menu so i'm not gonna bother changing all my cables again just to do that until i get a better answer. WEP is disabled and mac filtering is off too. Are there anything you want from ipconfig?
I'm changing the router to wireless because my sister wants to have internet in her rom but when she's out i always change it back to a normal router because built in firewall OWNS me hard. So even after this gets fixed i still will be changing them back and forth
