bumper crop release 31/03 with new audio drivers, new IDE driver and new version of system utility.

My girlfriend says the best way to improve the sound coming from my speakers is to turn them off...

Well they seem to work pretty good, i never had a problem with the older versions to. I still use my audigy, but my other computer still uses onboard.
However the new ide and audio drivers are pretty good, especially their new mixer.

Isn't that supposed to be 4.31 rather than 4.13? Windows Update also has the same drivers available now.

I upgraded through Windows Update and it borked the speaker output level meters in the SoundStorm control panel, pinning them at full blast whether there was an actual signal or not. A reboot didn't fix it so I had to do a system restore. I'll try the official update package from nVidia's site and see if that makes any difference.

Edit: Yep, made all the difference

Why the heck is M$ offering recent version but limited function drivers? It'd be better if they didn't offer nForce drivers at all, imo.
