80Gb backup into a 160Gb drive...

Hiya,

I had a backup from a failing drive restored onto my new (bigger) drive - but now I have a large portion of unclaimed space which I want to stick into one of my partitions...

Will Partition Magic be up to this job, or is there some other way of achieving this? I'd rather not have to add a new partition to be able to use the space.

Cheers

Neil

Yes, you can use Partition Magic to increase the size of an existing partition.

Talk Backups are for wusses!!!

Installed PM8, installed for first time, clicked about 4 times with mouse, bingo my second partition is now 142Gb wooohooo!!! :-)

Amazingly I didn't even need to reboot!

Many thanks,

Neil
