"Best of" DVD creation

Fellow Members:

Can someone direct me to a good web site for instructions on how to take clips from multiple DVDs and meld them together to create kind of a "best scenes" DVD?

I have a pioneer DVD burner, approximately 160GB of high-speed hard drives, a Barton 3200 and 1.5GB of PC 3200 DDR SDRAM (400 FSB) & Matrox Parhelia.
