Anyone do an RMA through SONY or Tigerdirect?

My laptop has finally crapped out. I guess the graphics card has burned up or something else that controls graphics. I have a one year warranty with SONY and that is about up in 2 months. After that warranty ends my Tigerdirect 3 year warranty kicks in. Should I go ahead and contact SONY about repairing/replacing my laptop or would Tigerdirect be a safer bet. I am not to worried about the 2 month wait, but if SONY is just as easy as Tigerdirect when it comes to customer service then I will try them. I have always had good experience when it comes to Tigerdirect so that is why I am thinking they would be worth the wait, am I wrong on that? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

I had to send in my SONY Clie for repairs while it was still under warrenty. SONY was great. They sent me a pre paid box and a RMA # with a website that you could check the status of your RMA.

They sent my CLIE back in under 2 weeks as good as new.
