Hello...I'm new to XP, so I have no idea what I'm doing pretty much in there :|
I have a home network setup through a dsl switch/router (D-link) with three computers. 2 runnign win 98SE and the mine windows xp pro. I had all of them running 98 until I upgraded mine last night. One of those 98's has a printer connected to it, and shared accross the network. I had no trouble printing to the printer and still don't from any pc with win 98se on it...but now I can't print from my (windows xp) comptuer to it. Basically I can see all the computers in the network window, and I can see the printer as shared....I install the printer, windows gave me something about it being not correctly configured on the other computer, but nothing else. I see the printer in my printers and faxes window, but when I try printing to it from any program, or even send a test page to it,the lights blink on the router several times, like it's sending data to the PC with the printer, but gives me an error that operation failed. When I open the printer utilities box (Epson Stylux c60) I can actually successfully print out a nozzle check page from my computer, but can't print from anywhere else
