harman kardon creatures

What do you people think of these speakers? I might buy them, but I don't know if I should considering the high price - and it's only a 2.1 system.

Heh, you just asked for a lot of people to tell you to get Logitech or Klipsch instead. Wait and watch.

I can't imagine the Ceatures speakers sound bad. Harmon Kardon makes some good stuff. You might find a better deal in something else though.

from every review Ive read and from what I've heard when comparing sound at Bestbuy,.... these look neat... but sound pretty crappy considering the price... so unless your getting these dirt cheap... consider a set of Logitech Z640's... $50 gets you a nice set of speakers IMO....

Yeah, pretty much anything will sound better than those weird things. Get a set of SR-60's or Z-640's if you MUST have speakers.

Hah, are you sure? I've read three reviews, and they all are good. And I'm a complete sucker for looks...and they look really good. I think I can get them for £60, that's ~100$, ~90 Euros

are you able to go to a retail store that has them set up?... you may be dissapointed by the sound in comparison to many other models... I have have heard them next to other spoeakers and they are not very powerful sounding and the sattlites were a little tin-e compared to the Logitechs and Klipsh.
just my opinion...

I have just skimmed through half a dozen reviews and they all seem fairly positive. If you are looking for a set of 2.1 multimedia speakers with a small footprint and you find the Creatures to be aesthetically pleasing then I would suggest you give them a listen (I think my local PC World has some setup for demo).
