when i put a mic on my pc the sound that the mic picks up it echos through my pc speakers or headphones, which ever is on. i have tried different mics and headphones, it always does it. it is very annoying, wondering what could have happend?

turn the gain down on your mic input.. (should be able to do this in your sound control) and move it father away from your speakers.

*edit* hmm I think I read your post wrong.. so you are getting your sound from whatever you put into your mic coming out of your speakers? is that correct?

whenever my mic is pluged in, what ever the mic picks up the speakers will play.
