Restoring a CD image

I downloaded a program that has the what I belive to be a CD image, but instead of *.iso, .cue, .bin it's *.img. Does anyone know anything about this? I have Windows XP as OS. I think the program may be German if that helps any.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

So, you downloaded some warez and can't determine what format the image is in?

Too bad.

Didn't post the name of the file because I didn't think it was relevant to the problem at hand. I wasn't aware that this was a church. You can call it warez if you like, but the program is no longer commercially available to my knowledge, or to anyone that I've talked to about it. It's Empire Deluxe from Bethesda Software. Not the beta version that someone is trying to revamp and improve for the faster machines. I eagerly look forward to being able to purchase that when/if it's finished. If you know of a location to purchase the orignal Empire Deluxe, I'd be delighted to do so. Otherwise this is what I have. And thanks for the tip on MagicISO. I have UltraISO and didn't think it would handle it since Nero didn't, but it did. Thanks again.
