Disk Cleanup Problem

Hey crew,

Would anyone have an idea on this problem I am having?

I attempt at using the disk cleanup feature on my PC and each time I attempt to use it, it starts, but just sits there and does nothing. It tries to "compress old files" but that's as far as it goes. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I'm running an older machine with XP. Never had it do that when I used the cleanup. Thanks!
