Help with mapping drive in XP

I have a drive that is set to automatically reconnect at reboot. When I check to see if it is mapped to the file server in the workgroup, it says it is not. When I double click it, it then opens up and works fine. Is there a way to just have it reconnect without have to click on it every morning? Thanks!

It could be a couple things...
Right off the top of my head, I would make sure that if you are on a LAN/WAN, that both computers are registered in the DOMAIN. If your PC is not registered, then you would have to supply credentials for it to read the drive you are mapped to.

Hope this helps
