local network using crosscable
hello there Helper,
i just connect 2 pcs using local network about a few hours ago using crosscable and some amount of x00000 bytes have been received and sent so far. and i am not very fond of using this networking anyway.
my question is, can the folders on my dekstop be viewed in the second pc too? the only folders to be shared are the printers and shared Docs that have shared music , shared pictures, shared video... what about folders i saved on desktops...??
thanks guys

The other machine isn't running... how would you pull the data from a non-spinning hard drive?

i see notebook has, but pc..? | IR is a feature, some PCs have it some don't. As far as I know, it is integrated onto the motherboard, meaning if you don't have it... I don't know if you can add IR as an add-on card. I'm someone else here would know that answer.
