Building a car computer audio system

Hi there, I am starting a project to build a low power car computer. I'll be modding this for a brand new 2004 GMC Canyon 4x4 4 door truck.

1st I have most the of the equipment figured out (such as a nice low power Via motherboard with onboard CPU) also getting a low power DC-DC power supply.

This is the board I am planning on using:

http://www.viaembedded.com/product/D...herboardId=201

One thing that is bothering me right now is what to do with the audio.

I would like to take the 4 speakers (6.5" Infinities) and my 2 10" subs (connected to 3 Rockfordfosgate amps) and connect them to the audio out.

Since the via has a free PCI slot I would purchase a audio card to do this... but can I hook my amps up to the audio card?

Confused.. but any pointers would be helpfull.

I am planning on leaving the head unit in because its a GM vehicle and the factory double din head unit is needed for the door chimes and has memory in it for the onboard car computers... so I can't remove it.

I have lots of space in the middle and will make a custom console.

Thanks for the link MDS but really doesn't tell me anything about the speaker end of things.
