Hi there...

Check out the LifeView FlyVideo. It sells for C$52 in Canada, which is probably one of the cheapest TV tuner / video capture cards I've seen. It is a mono TV tuner but if you use the RCA inputs instead you can get stereo sound no prob. I have one and it's great.

Hope this helps.

How much are you willing to spend? Capture cards can range anywhere for <$100 to several hundred.

A friend of mine got an ATI card that was strictly for capturing and it was pretty cheap. He paid for what he got, though. The card and/or its drivers caused his system to crash repeatedly. Just a word of caution.

The FlyVideo cards have a good track record, quality wise, and reasonably good drivers. I own one myself, still happy with it.

Bare video capture cards are even less, I just bought a Leadtek VC100 for 27 euros.
