| http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/schedule/ Quote:
As an aggressive schedule, this schedule is subject to change. At any time, if it becomes obvious that we will need to modify it, we can; in particular, we have scheduled a "reality check" meeting part-way through development to make sure that we stop and ask ourselves whether we have a reasonable chance of making this schedule.

Thanks for the link! Will check it out right now
Fedora is basically an open source version of Redhat.

I'm really liking this distro. If only it came with 2.6.5 instead of 2.6.4 (2.6.5 is supposed to the first kernel to support my soundcard "out of the box").
Things to like:
-2.6 kernel makes things "snappy"
-Everything is smoothly integrated as in Fedora Core 1 with a few tweaks
-KDE 3.2.1 (latest) is installed and works nicely
-Is SELinux enhanced
-Many previously compiled packages will work with it
Things not to like:
-Using SELinux is NOT easy (I disabled it at install)
-Can't get my 3d drivers to work (nvidia's fault)
-Little precompiled software available; many things break when moving to 2.6
Anyhow, I like it, and nothing seems to have shipped with it seriously broken, though there are already tons of updates available.
And 2.6 rocks! Especially with burning CDs.
