Kids routing problems with cayman3500

Howdy I recently upgraded to SBC's business class dsl with the five static ip's and they came in and gave us a cayman3500 seris router. know I'm having big problems. first it wasn't set up right and I had no outside acess on any of my computers I also am using a netscreen 5xt unlimited acess box for the internal side of my network the problem is I can't vpn into the network I don't know if it is becase the net screen box is behind the router and hence the router won't forword to the netscreen box or what I am new to these cayman routers and there internal setup and management is really bad. So I'm not even sure how to set up routing tables in it so any help you can give me would be greatly apprecatied. All of my computers now can go out onto the internet but I can't recive any incoming connections I never had this problem til I got this router and sbc is horrible with there customer service I was on the phone for an hour and still wasn't on the phone with a human who could help me out so I came here. much thanks,Ed
so you know my setup it is cayman-netscreen-computers

Is the cayman router performing NAT ? If yes, then that may be your problem because most VPNs do not work over NAT (security risk).

Regardless if NAT or not, it may also be dropping the related incoming traffic due to the default incoming rules.

I don't know anything specific about the cayman routers. Perhaps if I have time later, I'll download the manual and see if I can offer any advice.
