Hi all, yet another approved competition, I need another logo (paid cookie $60 for last one), the prize is $60 and there definately will be a techimo winner decided by me, so one of you will win.

The company is called Exica Group Ltd
the logo can be that or simply Exica, however the Ltd must be easy to add or remove as it is not yet Ltd.
it is a master company for several sub brands, so needs to look very professional and give off the impression it is a massive company.
It should be simple, modern, interesting, unique and synonimous with the company name such as the McDonalds m, IBMs lined writing,
I want the text to make up most of the logo, so not having masses of graphics around it
I want it to be fairly simple colours, 1-4 colours, eye catching but not too bright. Im not sure about the color, ill leave that up to you!

What does the company do? What type of people is it aimed toward?

Last question: How long do we have to design something? (deadline date)

the company is a group coporation, like a big umbrella with lots of smaller companies under it. Kinda like virgin, who owns a phone company, record label, auto service, etc. it's not really aimed at anyone in particular but the public.

i dunno about deadlines though

pyro, when i first looked at that i was at an angle to my lcd screen so it looked like it said exicaltd in bold black, but as soon as i sat up it looked real good. simple and to the point

Hey all, thanks for your efforts. Yeah, as cookie said, it is a holdings companys, sort of the main company for several brands, can't really think of a good example, except for Virgin who do everything from Cola to Planes to Condoms.

As for a deadline, im not completely sure, but I suppose it would be unfair not to submit one. First deadline I'll say is May 1st so cookie has some time and more people can get involved.

Cookie I like your designs, the main one is funky but a little hard to read, that may be a problem. However, i like the style, so if you could come up with something similar but a little easier on the eye that would be great.

Pyro, nice and simple, but i think a little too simple, doesn't really stand out from the crowd, same with butch.
