Can't see CS

I was connecting to a server on Counterstrike and my computer froze. And after I restarted it, and started up cs, But this time my monitor kept turning off and I couldn't see anything. Help?

Steam's been messing up lately. Frequently, when I try to exit or change maps or servers, the computer would freeze.

Steam sucks. Their update thing is a good idea but they can never get things right. Just go over to Steam forums and read all the complaints about the latest update bug.

Heh, well I meant to say that this new problem came with the recent game update. It's happened to me in both cs and dod.

I know I hate steam so much.

wish there was a way that we could overthrow the steam King.....
