Tv-out display suddenly messed up on FX 5600 - All colors glow like neon

had to unplug the tv-out cable from my tv and when I replugged it the display was all messed up. after alot of trying different things it atleast got the picture to show up right again but now the colors are not correct. It looks as the white color is not displayed at all as the red, green and blue colors are glowing like neon, and what should've been white is a sort of brown/gray.

I know it is not the tv that is messed up as I've tried it on several tv's. I also know it is not the cable as I've tried both s-vhs and composite.

The card is from Gainward and I'm using WinXP home

Any help apreciated, or I will have to buy a new card.

(ps, I tried searching but could not find and topic similar)

try reinstalling your drivers, they may have become corrupted. maybe even update them to the latest version from the manufacturers website. also make sure you use the right tv system for your set, e.g. ntsc for us/japan or pal for most of europe

have you tried resetting the gamma and contrast controls to default (both on the pc and the tv set)? the contrast control especially can screw up your picture like this.
