Wireless connection

Hi guys,

I'm using D-Link AirPlus XtremeG+ DWL-G520+ wireless card, and it keeps getting disconnected when I download large files. However it seems ok when I disable the option for Windows to configure my wireless network settings, BUT, for some reason when I restart leaving that option unchecked, I can't connect to the wireless network. I'll have to check the box for Win to configure my wireless network settings, connect up, then uncheck that box to be able to DL files without disconecting.

Any ideas guys? Thanks.

What kinda router r u using? I had the same prob with my GF's the router was a linksys, i ended up fixing it by unplugging all but the modem, then i updated the d-link cards driver, well uninstalled and reinstalled, then fired up the lptop and then the modem. Works great now.

Yeah somehow uninstalling and reinstalling always works for most things. I'll give the reinstalling a shot. It's just weird how it won't connect up if I uncheck for windows to configure the wireless network. Anyway thanks ryogenetic.
By the way I'm using Belkin F5D7130. It's not bad but then I guess they're pretty much about the same.

Cheers
