Best P4 mobo for $

I'm not a P4 man, I'll say that right away, but a friend of me wants to build a P4 system with a 3.2 P4. What would be the best board for the money(although that isn't a real concern). There will be absolutly no OCing so there is no need to include that in an argument. Thanks.

Some parameters?
Raid?
SATA?
Is it for gaming or general web surfing and email etc?

No RAID
SATA doesn't matter any type will do.
This would be a gaming machine.
LAN (i doubt anything doesn't come with this anymore)
Basically something that is user friendly.

I just put together a new P4 machine. MSI 661FM-L is the MOBO.
3.06ghz CPU 1 1/2 gb PC2700 ram. I like it!!! The board will
Hyper thread so will the CPU, must use a operating system the
allows hyper threading. This board will support 800FSB and PC
3200. About $75.00 out the door. It is a micro atx.

there are just too many good P4 boards out there to name many of them

what all features does he want? that is the question....firewire? sata raid?

here is a good looking cheap one http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...128-218&depa=0

there are literally dozens of great boards.

sometimes its best to read soem reviews and figure out what the best chipset is....then look for a board with your needed features based on that chipset and budget.

myself, I cant keep up with all the motherboards..especially with P4s..there are just toooooo many of them!

Thanks all, I was just trying to get a good idea of what was out there. Maybe my question should have been "What P4 mobo to avoid?"... lol
