interactive desktop??
I'm not really sure where this should go, so if it needs to be moved, please do.
I want to make my desktop (using winxpPro) into an active page... by this, I mean that I would like to have a little javascript box in the upper right corner that i can type into. below that I want there to be a dropdown box with options of webpages to send the contents of my text box too (like google, or dictionary.com for example...)
I want the results to then open in a new IE window.
I know that this can be done, and quite honestly, i'm sure with a lot of searching I could figure out how to do it on my own. but, I'm just not up for it right now, so I call upon the collective knowledge of tecimo.com!
any suggestions??
