Will this ram be compatible?

Sorry to have to ask another stupid question.....but I am putting a cheapie celeron system together for my wife( used mostly for email and browsing)

I was hoping to get everything through computer geeks and have a board that requires pc2100 to run. Will the memory clock down....such as , if I put pc2700 /3200 in it, will it work?

ya, all ddr ram speeds are backwards compatible
