i've got xp-64 beta running on a second hdd but media player says it cannot find a dvd decoder. can anyone give me a few pointers as to just wot i need to install to play dvds and if i need anything else to make the os recognise a dvd with a game on it.
You need the dvd codec. Its propriatary. Meaning costs $. To get it install powerdvd or Intervideo player which will install codecs then even your Media player plays dvd's.
