I think I've set a new record...
Well, my brother was having some problems with his PC when it came to surfing the web and using internet related apps. I try to keep spyware out of my PCs, but I never did get the chance to look at his and see what exactly was wrong with it. Check this out, its insane!

How did you get any on your machine in the first place? Don't you run SpyBot S&D ?
If you do, update and immunize against bad downloads. Block silently in the background.
Dump your cache before you run a scan with either Adaware or SpyBot.
Cheers!

He already mentioned that this was his brothers system, not his own.
Sorry CubKid, but I can top that. An Internet Cafe owner across the street from me was having massive problems on one of the PC´s there. I took my diskettes with all my wonderful spyware killing tools over and found 523 items on the system |

Thats not bad lol. I built a custom computer for my teacher and she said it was running slow (I had installed adaware etc. on it already) so I went over to her house and I guess she had never ran it cuz it found 705 files :P

My son's machine was acting possessed. I has spybot and Adaware on there but he never ran them. I ran Adaware and found close to 800 items, including a half-dozen browser hijackers. No wonder it was acting posessed!
