@$#%ing NERO

Gotta problem with the Nero v.6. Its telling me when I try to burn my VCD that,"Image capture:idle". What am I doing wrong? and is it that my CD device is outdated...I know how fast computer equipment evolves, but the thing is only a year old. HELP!!

Could you please list out your system specs, as well as your OS? Are you running Nero 6 Ultra, or an OEM version that came with your CD burner?

I just read an earlier posting by you. In it, you said a friend was making a copy of Nero for you. That might be the problem if his version is an OEM version that is specific for his drive. Go to Nero's website and download Nero 6 Ultra. It's fully functional, and is not crippled software. The dem will run for about 3 weeks. Plenty of time to see if it's the program you want. That's what I did. Three days later, I shelled out the $100 to buy it. It does everything I need in a CD/DVD burning utility. Even makes labels. Never had a problem with it.
