my lexmark Z53

I have had this printer for a little over 1.5 years. it has worked great


so i was printing my very important essay when it just stops. and the little feed paper through thing started to blink and when i pushed the button it didnt do anything

thease are the things that i tried
1) turned off my computer
2) turned off printer
3) closed program and tryed to print again
4) unplug printer and leave unplugged for 2 min
5) put tonnes of paper in
6) put 1 sheet of paper in
7) checking if all the gears are still moving (they were)

does anyone else have any ideas on what i can do to get this demon printer to print

Well, kinda give us a background of your PC and the programs installed?

Is the printer USB or Parrallel?

Do you have a Virus Scan on the PC?

Have you ever ran a Spyware/Adware scan?

What type of OS?

Has this problem happen before?

What does the printer do now? (doesn't print at all, error message, ...etc.)

Does the printer print in any other programs?

Have you ever ran a Spyware/Adware scan? like every day

What type of OS? WINDOWS XP

Has this problem happen before? Never

What does the printer do now? doesnt print at all, i turn it on and the front wheel spins and not the back one

Check control panel > printer and faxes > and see if the default printer is "Ready". If everthing looks OK, try the solution below:

Sounds like a hardware problem inside of the printer if the light is still flashing on the printer. Break it open and see if anything looks damaged and get back with us. Also, check to see if the felt block is full with ink or if ink has leaked into the printer caseing.

BTW, what type of printer is it?
