NEED network adapter drivers BADLY!

Hello,

I have an old HP Pavilion 4440 desktop around, and everything works great except for the network adpater. It cannot find drivers anywhere, and I even used the restore disk. HP's site has no drivers for this either. It is running Windows 98. Does anyone know where I can get drivers for this thing? Google has yielded nothing.

hey,
Have you checked out:
www.driverguide.com
I used them a couple of times when I needed a scanner driver that was outdated a lonng time ago...
Or maybe try looking on the MB for clues of the model of the MB or manufacturer. Then you can search the MB manufacurer's site for drivers?
Just some suggestions
Thanks, Paul

Yeah, what would make it easier if you known if it was onboard or on a PCI or ISA card.

if it is a seperate card (not onboard etc) it may have an "FCC ID #" which you can then look up to find the make and model etc.
