q-tec firewire card not recognised...

I've plugged a q-tec firewire card into my computer and it's not being recognised at all. I'm using Win2000 with SP4. I can install the Driver [which is already in Win] but it doesn't attach itself to the card. Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers.

Emilio.

Try another slot. Sometimes I have to do that with my 56k modems.
