GeForce4 Ti4600 Driver not working

ok guys,

amd athlon xp 2600+
1gb ram pc2700
2 60gb western digital hdd
vantec stealth 520watt psu
my geforce
soundblaster audigy something or another

anyway, i removed my mx440, because my geforce4 got returned to me (it died and the mx440 was fillin in, got the gefroce4 under warranty) i uninstall all nvidia graphics drivers, install the geforces drivers off the cd, restart, no change, im still running at 1024*768 at highest colors, but it doesnt recognize my monitor anymore, and the vid card isnt appearing either

im runnnin xp home...

help quick plz goin insane.
