Question about Doamin name transfers.

Ok I was thinking about getting a better host for my website, right now my domain is registered with registerfly, and I just have it set to foward all requests to my domain to my personal webspace at my ISP. When looking at some webhosts I think I will need to "transfer" my domain when I sign up with a host. From what I've read all I have to do to transfer my name is to change my DNS servers at registerfly to point to the webhosts DNS servers. When I do this will I still be paying registerfly to renew my domain name or does it transfer all of that to the webhost. Just a little confused on this.

You can do both... transfer the domain, or just point it to the dns servers..


I use www.123cheapdomains.com to register and pay for my domains..

and www.siteturn.com to host my site.
