Which Graphics card

I am chosing between a " Leadtek Winfast A360-TD128 FX5700 Blindingly fast 128MB DDR with VGA, DVI, TV-Out and Dual Monitor " or a "Mediamax Radeon 9600 PRO 128MB DDR ATI TV-Out DVI-I " Now there is a £23 diffrence in the price and i i am slso considering OCing ability any idears???

9600 pro will offer you better performance, but i cant say ive heard of mediamax.

I would suggest a 9600XT or Pro. XT's seem to be a little on the cheaper side, and are great OverClockers too.

well the toms hardware link says that the FX 5700 is better???? my bad thats the wrong one............ on ebuyer some people have been saying that the 9600 pro i am looking at isn't a pro and it runs at a lower speed than any other pros????? anyone know anythinf about this.

i would do the fx5700 . if you look at the pure stats it is alittle better . but eitherway both gpu's are good mid range gpu's so you can't go wrong eitherway i think .

I'd go for the 5700 aswell because it is from a know brand and is a nice card anyway. Post the prices so we can help see if you can get something better in that range.

Have to agree with twiz.....then again I'm just biased...Ive got Rad Sapphire XT great value

XT cheaper? Last time I checked, the Radeon Xts were a lot more $$$ than there pro versions. Now the Nvidia XTs are cheaper than the regulars.


I say go with the 5700. Since it has DDRII, it OCes really really good. Nunyadam said he got his memory up to like 1.2ghz or somthing.
