hp 692c inkjet problem no printing

hi there,

I have a inkjet which wont feed the paper, manually or with puter.
All I did was change the inkjet. I tried using the old inkjet but failed.
Any clues please/./ have a blown up my printer??

First things first.
Check to see if its plugged in, and the printer cable is also properly plugged into the computer and printer. Make sure to turn it on. Any change?
If not:
Turn off the printer, Open and re-inspect the inside of the inkjet, make sure you close the door properly, turn the printer on- any change?

yes, went through the steps. Still the same. Wont print. Just flashes the paper light when trying to send from the puter or manually trying to print.
