Slow Transfers with MSN Messenger...

Hey I am running msn messenger and trying to transfer files and it is going way slow... It says tips for transfering if you are behind a firewall or whatever. I have my firewall disabled and have opened the ports it recommened using my router... anybody know anything else to try? TY

well I know adelphia which you are on only uploads at around 256kbps so it might just be that

oh yeah didn't you just install sp2 it has a built in firewall and also your router has a firewall but i'm guessing thats the one you disabled

I disabled norton, windows and went into my router settings and opened the ports MSN uses to allow his IP but it didn't work...
